Thomas (Tommy) Minter, age 4, died on November 11, 2023. Unlike many children who die from an illness, Tommy did not spend countless months or years in a hospital. Tommy's life was with his family and friends. He loved playing outside at parks, the beach or his backyard. On November 5, 2023 after playing at the park with his siblings, Tommy went to the emergency room and a tumor was found in his brain. In the coming days, Tommy underwent three different surgeries. After only being in the hospital for one week, Tommy died on November 11, 2023 surrounded by his family. The hospital was not where Tommy lived or spent his time. The Tommy Angel Foundation, Inc. was established to focus on what gave Tommy meaning and joy. We aim to put our energy into supporting spaces that Tommy would have enjoyed. This is our way of keeping Tommy's passions alive.
The Foundation was incorporated in the State of New York. The Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions can be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Foundation's tax identification number is 93-4387880.
